It sure does feel like summer here in Napa. The temps have gotten into the high 80′s already on several days. The first scorcher brought out the need for ice cream!
Here’s a little collage of what we’ve been up to lately…
Eating watermelon and playing in the sandbox with his best friend.
Holding new chicks (and ducks and goats) at preschool.
Climbing higher and higher all the time. For this little monkey, the higher the better. And I stand below with my mouth closed and fingers crossed!
Playing slip ‘n’ slide in shaving cream. Oh the laughs this produced!!
Making “blowing” paintings. Beautiful, tie-dye like results from diluted paints and a straw in place of a brush.
Awesome Mother’s Day frittata made for me by my boys.
Some pink coffee cuffs made for a dear friend who’s mother recently had breast cancer surgery. I was so happy to send them off to her and share some crafty love.
And speaking of crafty love…I’m working on an idea for a new project…a “pay-it-forward” sort of idea, inspired by this recent experience. It’s still in the works, but I’ll let you know as soon I have the details ironed out. Until then, happy days to you all.
